Founded in 1964 by the town of Vichy and the University of Clermont-Ferrand, the CAVILAM – Alliance Française centre is known internationally for the quality of its courses and its exceptional site.
It is one of the benchmark institutions in France for the excellence of its French language courses, training for French teachers, development of innovative international educational initiatives (in partnership with TV5MONDE, RFI SAVOIRS, ‘l’Institut français’ and the ‘Organisation internationale de la Francophonie’) as well as for the expertise and education it provides all over the world.
The warm welcome and personalized support for each individual are also among the institution’s strong points.
Finally, Vichy is the ideal place for a linguistic and cultural immersion in the French way of life. The town has a thriving art culture, boasts a rich history and is also known for its sporting events. Course participants are fully immersed in local life.
